Deadly Pursuit by Irene Hannon

Book Description:
As a social worker, Alison Taylor has a passion for protecting children and seeing that justice is served on their behalf. But when she starts getting harassing phone calls and bizarre "gifts," it seems she may be the one in need of protection. When her tormentor's attentions take a violent turn, her brother Cole comes to her aid, along with his new partner, an ex-Navy SEAL, Detective Mitch Morgan. As her relentless stalker turns up the heat, Mitch takes a personal interest in the case. Protecting Alison has become more than just a job--because his own happiness now depends on keeping her safe.

Chock full of nail-biting suspense and heart-melting romance, Deadly Pursuit is Irene Hannon's storytelling at its very best. Fans old and new will not want to miss the next story in this series starring siblings fighting for justice.

My Thoughts:
I was hooked at the start! Alison is a social worker...she is also the sister of two overly protective and overly involved brothers! Since her car accident and boyfriend's leaving, her brothers have taken a peculiar and annoying interest in her love life. Enter the newest addition to the town, Detective Mitch Morgan. Alison and Mitch initially see each other to 'help the other' but soon find a mutual attraction--and a stalker. It seems Alison has snared more than just Mitch's attention and now it is up to him to make sure she is safe!
I like that Alison is a strong, independent woman. She has been hurt badly in the past but hasn't closed herself from the possibility. Mitch is a man's man and former Navy SEAL and I love that he is considerate of Alison's hesitation in the new relationship. The two brother's and Liz being back in this book is just perfect. Plenty of action, suspense and just enough romance....this book has it all!
I rate this a 5/5. It is a wonderful book that I'll soon read again :)
