AW: What genera do you write and why?

Currently I writeNon-Fiction Inspirational. My focus in writingis to enrich the lives of my readers. I had a reader make this comment aboutCompletely Whole “It speaks” and that’s what I want it to do. I want them tocome away knowing that they have the ability to live a full enriched life.

I want tomake several impacts on readers: I write non-fiction inspirational books sothis means my books should have a lasting effect on a person’s spirit.Inspiring and encouraging them to pursue with passion a better fulfilled life.I want my writings to give strength, encouragement in the time of need.

AW: Tell us about your book…. Completely Whole, Aug 2010

Completely Whole brings to light those issues that have blocked our path tototal wholeness. Everyone desires to be whole and embedded within CompletelyWhole are keys that will assist the reader in identifying, facing andeventually conquering those places that have kept them from walking inwholeness. Areas that have been a constant struggle for one to obtain victory,be it forgiveness, substance abuse, divorce. Completely Whole deals with thewhole man spirit, soul and body.

AW: What was your inspiration for this book?

I decided to write Completely Whole because oftentimes, many people try to seekfulfillment from money, relationships, accomplishments, or material things.Others choose to cope with difficult problems by using drugs or alcohol, but they often come up short and soon have to realize that such things do notbring true happiness and fulfillment in life. In my book, I try to show peoplethe true meaning of living a whole life.

AW: What project(s) are you currently working on?

I have started writing my first Christian Fiction book series. My first book inthe Trinity Lakes series is titled: The Sanctuary. It will be released sometime next year. I’mexcited about this new journey God has me on. I’m looking forward to seeingwhat He is going to do through these next books.

AW: Do you have any advice for writers out there?

Threethings I would give new authors: First is to be patient. Connecting withyour audience and branding yourself will take time. Especially for new writers, the market is flooded with books for readers to choose from so by keeping thisin mind you must be able to patiently wait your time to shine.

Secondly: I would suggest promote, promote, promote. I can’t stress that enough. Your book/books will stay aliveas long as you keep them if front of your audience. No one is best suited thanyou to promote and market your products. If writing is your passion you willcontinue promoting and marketing your books even when it appears no one isbuying.

Thirdly: Use social networks to connectwith readers. By joining social networks it presents a platform for you toshare with your readers your events or next book release. Readers must be ableto find you either on your website or any social network you have joined.
